Plaintiffs were a 42 year old laborer and his wife. The laborer fell
three stories from a defective scaffold and suffered several compound
fractures. Continuing pain ultimately caused a herniated disc requiring
laser surgery. We also obtained a verdict of three million dollars
for loss of consortium on behalf of the laborer's wife.
